Different Types Of Beef Steaks

Slow cookers aren't just for grandmothers. On a busy day, who doesn't love to come home in the evening to a hot already-prepared meal? Whether it's a succulent pot roast, savory tender chicken or a simple casserole, slow cookers create amazing aromas and even better meals - and many slow cooker stew beef braised make enough food to feed your entire family (and then some).

Shrimp can be added to crockpot chowders, soups or stews. You can either add them in their shells or de-shelled. Gumbo and jambalaya are slow cooker braising steak and you can add some tasty shrimp to these, whether you make them on the stove or slow cook them. Clams and mussels are good for making stews, especially when you use a tomato or white wine based sauce.

Meals. Throughout the day consume around 4-7 meals. These meals shouldn't be big meals that fill you up for the day and prevent you from eating properly later on. Something simple like a protein shake consumed with milk can count as a meal if you want it to. To help meet your protein intake for the day each meal should consist of a quality protein source such as chicken and provide around 30-40 grams of protein each sitting.

Fruit can also be stewed. Peel and chop an apple and simmer it in water until it is soft, then use a potato masher to make a puree. This is great served alongside pork chops or you can use it to top your breakfast cereal in the morning. Add a little cinnamon to make the apple sauce extra tasty.
